Do I need an eSIM?
An eSIM is handy for a second number and travel, but not everyone needs one. Four questions give a verdict with the reasons.
Everything is calculated in your browser: your input is not sent or stored.
How the quiz works
- Each answer adds points and a reason; the total sets the verdict. If your phone doesn't support eSIM, the verdict is “not needed” regardless of other answers.
- Most major carriers support eSIM, but grey-import or carrier-locked phones may not work with every carrier — check before buying. As of October 15, 2026.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my phone supports eSIM?
Look for “eSIM” in the specs or Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM.
Can I use an eSIM and a physical SIM together?
Yes, many phones have both: main number on the card, second on the eSIM.
How do I move an eSIM to a new phone?
Through your carrier — in its app or with a new QR code. You can't swap it in seconds like a card.
Are my answers sent anywhere?
No. The quiz runs in your browser.
