"I think over the long haul, meaning four or five years, it could be up to one third of our traffic that would currently be on an MVNO basis," Tom Rutledge, Charter's chairman and CEO, said on Charter's Q4 2020 earnings call. https://www.lightreading.com/5g/charters-cbrs-network-could-offload-one-third-of-mvno-traffic-ceo-predicts-/d/d-id/767023 ------------------------------ Message-ID: <20210130172033.EFBF756B@telecom2018.csail.mit.edu> Date: Sat, 30 Jan 2021 17:20:33 +0000 (UTC) From: Moderator <telecomdigestsubmissions@remove-this.telecom-digest.org> Subject: You'll be shocked by how much you're giving away for a free email account By Albert Khoury Sometimes a service will perform useful tasks such as extrapolating booked flights from your inbox and offering to add them to your calendar. The companies signed up to participate in the auction as joint bidders, under the name "C&C Wireless Holding Company." The cable companies' interest in the C-band auction wasn't surprising; both had been engaged in FCC processes for years leading up to the auction. https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/comcast-charter-likely-not-big-spenders-c-band-auction-analysts ------------------------------ ********************************************* End of telecom Digest Tue, 02 Feb 2021
