Here is the agenda. ... The Commission will also hear a Third Report and Order that would authorize the agency's private Governance Authority overseeing the STIR/SHAKEN framework to review and revoke a voice service provider's participation in STIR/SHAKEN. The Order would further establish an appeals process and procedures for providers affected by a revocation. https://www.mondaq.com/unitedstates/telecoms-mobile-cable-communications/1099486/fcc-closes-out-the-summer-with-stirshaken-revocation-in-august-open-meeting?email_access=no

Klein (New York) The law rarely moves in a uniform direction. This is especially true when it comes to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"). Several recent decisions interpreting the TCPA's autodialer prohibition have come to the same conclusion: equipment is only an autodialer if it uses a random or sequential number generator to produce the number that is called or sent text messages. But a recent decision from an Arizona court, captioned Jance v. Homerun Offer, takes a different approach on TCPA violations. https://www.mondaq.com/unitedstates/dodd-frank-consumer-protection-act/1099010/arizona-court-splits-with-majority-on-autodialer-tcpa-violations?email_access=on
