ARS Technica reported that CenturyLink notified the Federal Communi- cations Commission that it "may not have reached the deployment milestone" in 23 states, meeting the requirement in only 10. Frontier also notified the FCC that it "may not have met" the requirements in 13 states, meeting the requirement in just 16. https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/centurylink-frontier-failed-to-meet-fcc-broadband-requirements/ -- Bill Horne Telecom Digest Moderator ------------------------------ Message-ID: <20200203024621.GA2712@telecom.csail.mit.edu> Date: Mon, 3 Feb 2020 02:46:21 +0000 From: Moderator <telecomdigestsubmissions@remove-this.telecom-digest.org> Subject: Verizon hit with extensive wireless, net outages throughout North Carolina, South Carolina Updated 1:30 PM ET Jan 31, 2020 By Jazmin Goodwin Verizon customers have been reporting widespread outages across North Carolina and into South Carolina. (Opinion) It might just turn out that the apps used to report the Iowa caucus results were Gerrymandered to misrepresent the data. It probably won't. It may just turn out that the apps were created by the secret cabal of Republicans trying to discredit the volunteers who toil without pay to assure a valid election. I don't think it will. It may just turn out that the company which created the app was being paid to code them so that they emit mind-number radio signals that confuse those who live in Iowa and force them to vote for whomever you don't like. I kind of doubt it. I think it will turn out that the blow-dried airheads who pass for reporters these days are running around making up conspiracies and trying to guess what could possibly have caused /them/ to have to work for a living. In fact, I would bet on it.
