Hi Everyone, Forgive me if I am missing something obvious here. I had a different understanding of what was happening here... I'm reading https://www.theverge.com/2016/1/13/10758380/stingray-surveillance-device-daniel-rigmaiden-case. The article talk about the arrest of Daniel Rigmaiden (and his countermeasures and suspicion of the AirCard he was using). Rigmaiden was located using a Stingray. The article goes on to say: US Marshals put Stingrays in planes and flew them over cities, collecting tens of thousands of phone numbers in search of a single fugitive's phone. What allows the Stingray to collect phone numbers (as opposed to IMSI or IMEI numbers)? Thanks in advance. ------------------------------ Message-ID: <2D77C456-CF27-4604-928F-48F1AF38CDC2@roscom.com> Date: 13 May 2020 14:56:05 -0400 From: "Monty Solomon" <monty@roscom.com> Subject: A Guide to Pandemic Scams, and What Not to Fall For A Guide to Pandemic Scams, and What Not to Fall For Fraudsters see opportunities to target us in these uncertain times.
