First, back when they initially offered the 30 minutes AND few free DA lookups, my card, though registered for that program, wasn't registered for it -- or rather, had rights to 0 minutes/month and 0 DA lookups/month. Many calls to CS later, citibank shipped a new card (same account number) with cover material indicating I now had 30 min/mo of (domestic) calling and a few free DA lookups/mo as well. BUT: the rebate scheme that the "old" card had benefited from before (something like 1% of charges for utilities, 5% of charges for at&t services (phone-line, ISP)) had gotten canceled for the "new" card. Many calls to CS later in my attempts to rectify that mis-step, citibank shipped another new card (same account number still) with cover material indicating I now had some gimmicky Thank You Points membership that would reward me for my purchases using the card. But in fact no such rewards ever seemed to get posted to my Thank You acct. I gave up using the card except for a very rare occasional, phone-card use. And then, a few months ago, I got USPS mail from the card issuer (at&t? citibank?) informing me that my card (not expiring until 2015 sometime) had been canceled/rescinded and was no longer valid.
