For more than half a century, during which kingdoms and empires have fallen, this Union has stood unshaken. The patriots who formed it have long since descended to the grave; yet still it remains, the proudest monument to their memory  - Zachary Taylor

Subject: Verizon drops plan to throttle data hogs Message-ID: <20141002190239.9A5729D5@telecom.csail.mit.edu> Verizon drops plan to throttle data hogs By James O'Toole When Verizon announced plans in July to throttle the connections of data-hungry customers, federal regulators cried foul. Now, Verizon is backing down. The wireless giant is abandoning its plan to slow down 4G connection speeds for certain customers with unlimited data plans, which Federal Communications Commission chairman Tom Wheeler had called "disturbing." http://money.cnn.com/2014/10/02/technology/mobile/verizon-throttle/ -- (Remove QRM from my address to write to me directly) When Fall comes to New England The sun slants in so fine And the air is so clear you can almost hear The grapes grow on the vine - Cheryl Wheeler

But for heavy smartphone customers, the only thing falling should be their monthly bills as AT&T kicked off yet another round of aggressive promotions. That drew a rapid response from both Verizon and Sprint. While the bad news is that most of the offers are currently only available for a limited time; the good news is that for many, they mark a near return to the days of unlimited plans. These new plans include so much data many will find it hard to use it all. http://www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky/2014/10/02/mobile-wars-att-goes-whale-hunting-but-verizon-sprint-bite-back-as-data-prices-continue-to-fall/ -or- http://goo.gl/mFau1V -- (Remove QRM from my address to email me directly) And in the blue sky overhead The Northern Geese fly South instead And leaves are Irish Setter red When Fall comes to New England - Cheryl Wheeler
