That office may or may not have a "real interest" in pursuing the matter, but at the least they'll probably forward it over to AT&T with a "post it" note attached. A letter always does much better than a phone call or email, it gives you an opportunity to describe exactly what has happened in detail and offer supporting information and dates, and it only costs one stamp. I submitted a complaint to the BBB yesterday morning. Today, I was called by someone from the office of the president of executive complaints. She got it resolved within an hour. Regards, Fred

Nomordobo seems the most promising - but it's probably going to involve a monthly fee - and I don't see the diff between it's audio CAPTCHA and a user-controlled challenge/response (something like "Press 1 for Sue, press 2 for Dave, press 9 to connect" Where the "real" digit is buried at the end of the prompt.... and there's a user-maintained white list so frequent callers just ring through with no challenge.
