Subject: Verizon upgrades network in South Philly, Old City ahead of
DNC
by Alison Burdo
For the second time in two years, Verizon is making major enhancements
to its network in Philadelphia - ensuring the city is ready to handle
the texts, emails, tweets and other posts being sent by the tens of
thousands of visitors in town for the Democratic National Convention.
Building on the investments the telecommunications giant made in
Philadelphia last year ahead of Pope Francis' historic visit, Verizon
is making upgrades to locations that are crucial to the convention's
success.

***** Moderator's Note *****
Maybe those whom were forced to use cellular phones after a hurricane
hit New Jersey could have their own convention. It's a shame that
Verizon only puts money into impressing those whom can hurt their
bottom line.

If I were them, I'd compare the surveyed population with the US census,
which is about as accurate a description of the US population as likely
exists.
