There is a long-standing bug that authentication cannot be accomplished with Linux on the user's computer. A work-around with a dual-boot machine is to boot up in Windows, go through the authentication dance, then reboot with Linux and the authentication will work for the life of the authenticator (24 hours). I called their connection support number one time, and after half an hour or so of work they were able to make the authenticator work. But after it expired it was back to the same problem as before. |

Subject: FCC refuses broadband industry demand Message-ID: <6843e521-551c-4671-9dd5-663775fec283@googlegroups.com> by Jon Brodkin, Ars Technica, May 8, 2015 The Federal Communications Commission today denied the requests of five broadband industry trade groups that asked for an immediate halt to the reclassification of Internet service providers as common carriers subject to Title II regulation. The move to dismiss the broadband industry petitions for a stay is no surprise, but the FCC's denial sets up the next phase in the net neutrality legal battle. Now the groups will ask a court to halt the reclassification pending a final outcome.
