ATT dabbled in the creditcard market in ~1990 era, but then
sold out to Citibank.
As part of that sellout, charter members got guaranteed
free calling privileges. It's 30 min. per month. I've used mine
for time to time, when traveling. I did so in December.
But last night I went to use it, only to be told I had zero
balance. 60+ minutes of chatting to ATTm, Citibank, ATT again,
Citybank again..... a helpful Citibank rep in Kentucky finally
found an account rep who stated...
The 30 min privilige was discontinued...last August.
The thing is, I used it in December.
Has anyone else had an issue with their calling privs?

I'm pretty sure I used it at the end of January, to call a friend for
a ride from the airport, and it worked just fine.
I do recall that the "charter member" agreement specified "no annual
fee, forever"... and I imagine that this might be enforceable. I
can't recall whether the 30-minutes-per-month of free calling was a
"guaranteed forever", or a "charter member benefit" which is subject
to change over time according to the usual "customer membership
agreement" terms.
