Subject: Why Do Millennials Hate Verizon Stock?
America's largest wireless carrier isn't impressing the Robinhood crowd.
By Leo Sun
Millennials, who are 25 to 40 years old this year, overtook baby
boomers as the largest generation in 2019. They're a core market for
most companies, and companies that keep pace with their evolving
tastes and preferences often generate stronger growth than those that
do not.

Subject: Lumen, Frontier, Verizon among telcos to lose millions due
to new FCC reg
by Linda Hardesty
There's a new FCC regulation that's going into effect on July 1, that
will cost some telecom companies millions of dollars per month. It
relates to some arcane tandem switching regulations for toll-free
calls, such as 1-800 calls.
Data crunching company Simplify Compliance calculates that large local
exchange carriers (LECs) such as Verizon and AT&T will end up losing
about $13.57 million per month, each. Lumen (formerly called
CenturyLink) could lose as much as $6.78 million per month, and
Frontier could lose $3.39 million per month.

Subject: Verizon Commits 0 Million In Donations And Ad Inventory To
Aapi Community
Verizon Media will advocate for Asian rights, mental health and
promote Asian-owned and run small businesses
By Ilyse Liffreing
The Atlanta shootings this week that left eight people dead, six women
of Asian descent, has prompted a reckoning over the rising rates of
Anti-Asian violence seen since the start of the pandemic. Brands,
media companies and agencies have been reaching out to Asian, Asian
American and Pacific Islander communities with statements of support
and monetary donations. The largest effort so far comes from Verizon.
