Lamar Johnson, of Waunakee, was nothing if not respectful,
accommodating, earnest and - especially - patient in his billing
dispute with internet and phone provider CenturyLink.
But that didn't get him very far, and in the end $700 is still $700.

Subject: CenturyLink Headquarters to stay in Monroe until 2025,
source says
MONROE, La. (KNOE) The headquarters of CenturyLink could remain in
Monroe until 2025.
A source tells KNOE that Governor John Bel Edwards and CenturyLink
reached a deal to extend the company's contract.
The current contract is set to expire at the end of 2020.

BILLINGS- Although connectivity issues have been resolved with the
Yellowstone County 9-11 dispatch center, there are still concerns
coming from dispatch leaders about what led to the outage.
"There could have been several callers that tried and gave up," said
Billings Fire Chief Bill Rash.
