Subject: Current and Former CenturyLink Residential and Small
Business Customers May Be Eligible for a Payment from a Settlement
MINNEAPOLIS, March 20, 2020 The following is being released by
CenturyLink and Settlement Class Counsel from the law firms Zimmerman
Reed LLP, O'Mara Law Group, and Geragos & Geragos APC for In re:
CenturyLink Sales Practices and Securities Litigation.
A Settlement has been proposed in a class action involving the billing
practices of CenturyLink. The case was filed against CenturyLink by
several customers alleging CenturyLink engaged in unfair and deceptive
billing practices. CenturyLink denies wrongdoing and liability and
both sides disagree on how much, if anything, the Class could have
recovered after trial. The court has not decided which side is right.
But both sides have agreed to settle the case and provide certain
benefits to CenturyLink customers in order to avoid the costs of
continued litigation.

Subject: Colorado: You can't fight City Hall - or apparently, the
PUC
In the March 14 edition of the Sentinel, writer Charles Ashby reported
on a plan to increase the 911 surcharge on all Coloradans. For me it
was a head slapping, "I told them so" moment. You see, in 2017
CenturyLink first applied for a new tariff under the guise of it being
"Next Generation 911." I read the tariff application end to end and
there was nothing truly next-generation about it.

By Rickell-Jed Burnham
Interenet is out in Stockton Utah and all over in Tooele county. Have
talked to many with Century link and they are all having issues so
far. Even ran into several people at home depot after century link
said it was a modem issue to all of us on the same day. This needs to
be fixed as alot of people are working from home including myself.
