A bit of digging revealed that the news article in question was originally published in the Kansas City Star almost two and a half years ago ... (https://www.kansascity.com/news/business/technology/article158360464.html). I've never heard of valliantnews.com, but it appears to be stealing other publishers' articles and reposting them under the (presumably phony) byline of "Robert Smith". All those reposted articles get a dateline automatically set to today, so old news ends up misleadingly appearing to be current. Caveat emptor.
