AT&T scored a major win for FirstNet, landing a contract valued at
around $92 million to provide FirstNet mobility services for the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The five-year deal is basically all new business for AT&T, according
to Stacy Schwartz, VP of FirstNet Program at AT&T, and represents the
largest commitment to FirstNet by a law enforcement or public safety
agency to date.

band spectrum

Verizon Communications Inc. VZ 0.03% and other cellphone providers are
expected to spend billions of dollars to secure prized spectrum for
their 5G networks in a U.S. government sale that kicks off Tuesday.
The Federal Communications Commission is launching a new auction for
C-band airwaves, a stretch of wireless frequencies especially valued
by companies trying to offer the fifth-generation service.

A former Verizon New York employee who allegedly lied to doctors about
arm injuries to obtain more than $19,000 in workers' compensation
benefits has been arrested. This comes after surveillance videos
showed her exercising and lifting weights despite her claims of being
unable to work.
