FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - An Army vet was turned away from a Florence
Verizon store for having his service dog.
US Army Vet Curtis Frye says things as simple as going out in public are
tough, so his service dog Nick never leaves his side. But Frye says
there was one place in the Pee Dee his dog couldn't go, even though a
store sign said otherwise.

On Feb 26th, 2015, the FCC is supposed to reveal the full plans for
Net Neutrality but Waiting for Godot is probably a better idea if you
expect something to happen anytime soon.
What is 'Net Neutrality', 'Title II', 'reclassification', the
'Communications Act'?
The FCC is supposed to be announcing a plan to 'reclassify' the
network infrastructure and the Internet Service (ISP) that is
delivered over it, as 'Title II", which is named for a section in the
Communications Act of 1934 (amended in 1996), "Title II: Common
Carriers". The Agency has been nice enough to supply a 'Fact Sheet',
and one the FCC Commissioners, Ajit Pai, also has put together his
version of a 'Fact Sheet'.

In case you missed it, Verizon Communications and AT&T owe the
government nearly $29 billion.
Both companies spent heavily in the FCC's AWS-3 spectrum auction,
acquiring valuable airwave licenses for their wireless businesses.
With both companies heavily burdened with debt, they're both looking
to raise funds without increasing their liabilities. After the AWS-3
auction results were announced, S&P downgraded AT&T's credit rating to
a BBB+. Verizon's credit rating remained unaffected.
