Subject: Finding the best cellphone plans for small businesses
A business mobile plan is common in the enterprise, but the picture
isn't as clear for SMBs. If an SMB opts to purchase a phone plan, there
are many options to choose from.
there are many options to choose from.
ByMichael Goad, CDW
Connectivity between users is critical for any business and its ability
to communicate the latest information about tasks and receive the latest
updates from managers, so workers from disparate locations may need
mobile devices to stay in constant communication.
SMBs have a lot of options when it comes to cellular plans that can fuel
the necessary connectivity across users. While there are many
similarities between different wireless carriers' programs and features,
it can be useful to compare some of the most common mobile phone plans
available to note the most relevant differences.

Subject: T-Mobile is warehousing spectrum... and other specious
arguments
By Mike Dano
T-Mobile bought almost 200 spectrum licenses in the 3.45GHz range at
the beginning of this year, but it doesn't plan to put those licenses
into use until the end of 2023.
The company spent almost $1 billion across several FCC millimeter wave
spectrum auctions more than two years ago but still has no concrete
plans to put that spectrum into widespread action.
Yet T-Mobile's networking chief made this claim just a few months ago:
"We have never warehoused spectrum in my entire career at the company.
We never will," Neville Ray said at a November investor event.
Is Ray being facetious? Or is something else going on?

Subject: VT: Mobile dead zones mapped
By Jason Starr
Verizon comes up short in state wireless testing
In the battle of behemoth wireless companies, AT&T and T-Mobile are the
clear winners over Verizon for mobile voice and data coverage in Williston.
That is one takeaway from the results, published Friday, of the Vermont
Department of Public Service’s mile-by-mile driving test of cell phone
coverage conducted over the summer. The department partnered with the
Vermont Agency of Transportation and a private company named Ookla to
complete the tests, traveling main roads throughout the state while
making phone calls and using the internet.
