Subject: Sprint, T-Mobile merger would cut employee pay, even at
Verizon and AT&T, study says
By Mark Davis
A merger between Sprint and T-Mobile would cut into the wages of
wireless store employees - including those working at Verizon, AT&T
and all four companies' authorized dealer stores, according to a study
released Monday.
Average weekly earnings for these retail workers "would decline by as
much as 7 percent" and between 1 percent and 3 percent "in the bulk"
of the markets affected by the merger, the report released by the
Economic Policy Institute and the Roosevelt Institute said.

More than 700 mobile phones collected for Cell Phones for Soldiers drive
This is a result of the combined efforts of Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-47,
AT&T, and the combined efforts of the community.
Approximately 33,030 minutes of free calls will be provided to men and
women serving in the military. Proceeds from the recycled devices will
be used to buy long distance calling cards for troops abroad and
veterans at home so they can call their loved ones this holiday
season.
