MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Some Verizon customers might be
experiencing a significant drop in service quality or outages overnight
as Verizon is reporting a “network disruption” late Tuesday.
In a statement, Verizon said the disruption is impacting people "within
California," after being questioned by KION about outages in the Salinas
93905 and 93906 zip codes.

Subject: Opinion: Starlink, Verizon 5G and Crypto: What the New ‘War
of the Currents’ Means for Decentralization
A modern-day “War of the Currents” is silently unfolding across
blockchain, broadband, existing power lines and even outer space.
By Tim Kravchunovsky
Whether it’s Verizon courting government contracts for its 5G upgrade,
blockchain startups deploying routers with crypto mining incentives, or
Elon Musk making Starlink available to the Ukrainian resistance,
broadband and internet of things (IoT) are the new battleground for
companies, ideologies and visionaries.
While it is still too early to tell whether there will be a singular or
divergent solution, the new technological framework for interoperability
will have ideology embedded in its code. Crypto and freedom advocates
should ensure decentralization as a principle is enshrined, and
cooperate to realize and expand on Nikola Tesla’s vision of a
decentralized, ubiquitous network.

Subject: AT&T drove me completely crazy. Then along came Frank
Sometimes, a brand’s ability to communicate is severely hampered by
its abject carelessness.
By Chris Matyszczyk, Contributing Writer
I used to do it without thinking.
It always worked perfectly well.
If I had to take a trip abroad, I'd go to the AT&T website.
I'd then buy an international data plan and believe that I wouldn’t
use more than the number of GB specified.
YOUR DEVICE ISN’T ELIGIBLE. GO AWAY
Why would I expect this time to be any different? Yet suddenly the
AT&T site decided I'd become inferior.
It told me that my device wasn’t eligible for the international plan.
Any international plan, that is.
