Subject: MA: Updated: Verizon Wireless phone issues reported on the
Outer Cape
WELLFLEET – There were reports of phone outages on the outer Cape
Monday morning. The issue appeared to be affecting Verizon Wireless
customers from Provincetown through Wellfleet. Wellfleet Police
reported their business lines were not working. 911 service was not
affected. Anyone trying to reach Wellfleet Police for non-emergency
business was advised to call Truro or Eastham Police who can relay
information via radio. Verizon has been notified and was working to
restore service. Further details were not immediately available.
Police are advising residents can turn on WI-FI calling on their
Verizon cell phone so they can make/ receive calls when connected to a
WI-FI network.

Subject: NY: And what to do about Verizon?
To the editor:
I read Stacy Driks’ front-page story with much interest. However true
this story is, it did not include the Verizon FiOS trucks that have
invaded Skyview’s fire hydrants for the past two weeks. They don’t
even attempt to find an empty legal spot or to park where trucks are
permitted to park between two of our buildings.
Apparently work is being done at Skyview by Verizon to install wiring
for those who wish to contract for Verizon’s cable services. They are
now installing this wiring attachment, leaving a mess behind for our
staff to clean up.

Subject: 26% of this Verizon Communications Inc. insider's holdings
were sold in the last year
Insiders were net sellers of Verizon Communications Inc.'s stock
during the past year. That is, insiders sold more stock than they
bought.
Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider
transactions, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether
insiders are buying or selling shares.

Subject: Verizon's 'Critical Components' to Getting SASE Right
By Julia King
Digital transformation remains a priority for enterprises, but the
reality for IT teams is that managing and securing an increasingly
complex environment poses "significant challenges," Verizon said in
its guide for the "right approach" to Secure Access Service Edge
(SASE) - the Gartner-coined infrastructure that combines cloud-native
network and security stacks.
In 2021 Verizon Business launched SASE solution with a multi-vendor
approach that combines SD-WAN and network security capabilities from
Versa Networks and Zscaler into a single managed service. Rival AT&T
had rolled out its own solution earlier that year in partnership with
Fortinet.
