Subject: T-Mobile Targets AT&T, Verizon With Cheap Holiday Deal
A popular deal is coming back.
By Michael Tedder
The competition for new customers in the mobile carrier game is tight,
and T-Mobile isn’t afraid to throw some elbows to come out ahead.
The three main carriers, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon, are constantly
trying to get customers to switch to them, while also introducing
incentives to keep their existing customers happy, so they’ll stay
put.

Best Cyber Monday iPhone deals 2022 — the best offers right now
By Richard Priday
Cyber Monday is imminent, but the Cyber Monday iPhone deals are
already here. Apple's phones are excellent devices, but can cost a
fair bit. That's why it's always worth waiting for the Cyber Monday
phone deals to appear and help you save money.
One such deal is the iPhone 14 Pro for free via trade-in and with
Unlimited plans at Verizon (opens in new tab), which gets you one of
the best phones of the year for nothing assuming you have a
valuable-enough device to give in exchange. That's not the end of the
offer though, as Verizon will also give you extra money off for
switching, or an Apple Watch or iPad too, depending on what you're
looking for.

Subject: U.K. antitrust group investigates Apple, Google mobile
device policies
By Linda Hardesty
The U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is moving forward
with an investigation it first proposed in June, looking into the
market power that Apple and Google exert in mobile-device software.
“Apple and Google have an effective duopoly on mobile ecosystems that
allows them to exercise a stranglehold over operating systems, app
stores and web browsers on mobile devices,” stated the CMA today.
