In Minneapolis, Centurylink DSL has no power backup whatsoever at the
pedestals. When the lights go out, the DSL goes out even if you have
UPS. Don't know what the situation is with their fiber.

Subject: Top 10 Best Dsl Router Modems 2020
*** PLEA FOR HELP ***
My Quaker meeting just got A DSL line installed, and I promised to
supply the router for the meeting house.
But ...
ADSL routers now come with a terminal unit built-in, which is not like
the old days and not what I'm used to. Ergo, i had to tell them that my
routers wouldn't work, and the meeting is paying to rent one from
Frontier.
Although the URL below points to some ratings of "DSL-compatible"
routers, I'm really looking for advice. Here's the question: how do I
make a router with an Ethernet input work with a DSL line? I don't have
any TU's left in my pile 'o parts, so the question is really "What's the
most cost-effective solution?"

This month's bid protest roundup (featured on Law360) examines three
recent decisions by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). ...
The second, AT & T Corporation, examines a conflict of interest wherein
the awardee would effectively evaluate its own performance under a
separate contract, and the third, CenturyLink QGS, addresses the scope
of a corrective action that allegedly resulted in the disparate
treatment of offerors.

a gap. Let others fill it.

Nearly a decade ago now, the North Carolina General Assembly approved
legislation that essentially blocked municipalities from acting as
internet service providers, barring any new or expanded municipal-owned
and operated systems.
