Frontier

ELKINS, WV - Randolph County Commissioners unanimously approved
authorization for the commission president to sign a complaint form
against an area phone service provider.
During their Thursday meeting, commissioners decided extra action be
taken against Frontier Communication after receiving multiple
complaints about insufficient services to parts of the county.

July flood

WETMORE, CO - It's been a constant headache for people like Cheri
Trujillo.
She dealt with the Junkins Fire, the subsequent flooding, and for the
last four months, a lack of reliable phone service.
Trujillo and around 40 other neighbors are still waiting on a solution
from CenturyLink, the subject of a public meeting Thursday night.

Subject: Galesburg-area phone issues could be fixed by tonight
GALESBURG, IL - Public safety officials were hopeful Galesburg and
Knox County could have landline telephone issues resolved by Wednesday
night. [11/14]
Galesburg/Knox County 911 Coordinator Amanda Jennings said a
fiber-optic cable cut near Litchfield caused the temporary loss of 911
service in the Galesburg area and continuing landline issues as of
about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Subject: CenturyLink outage disrupts communication for State Patrol
in Colorado

CRAIG, CO - CenturyLink customers, including Colorado State Patrol
dispatch, were impacted by internet and telephone outages Monday and
Tuesday. [November 12 & 13]
"General phone service to the Public Safety Center and communications
is sporadic," Moffat County Sheriff KC Hume wrote in a text
message. "911 has been transferred to Routt County Communi-
cations. They are answering 911 and relaying back to our
communication center."
