AT&T will let U-verse TV customers access up to four high-definition
channels simultaneously by the end of the year, thanks to a
combination of DSL upgrades and improvements in MPEG-4 compression.
Until now, AT&T has allowed customers of the IPTV service to access a
maximum of three HD channels at once, because of bandwidth
constraints.

The best thing I have found for using GUIs to automating the
management of text based systems is the freeware AutoIt. It will allow
you to create scripts that interact with GUI based and text based
systems. You will need a terminal emulator that can be scripted, such
as procomm, smarterm, teraterm, hummingbird, etc.

Every terminal emulator I've used has a built-in "macro" languarge to
automate repetitive tasks. What does "AutoIt" do that the macro
capabilities can't?
