urging Congress to write a federal net neutrality law.
In full-age ads in major U.S. newspapers Wednesday, CEO Randall
Stephenson calls for an "internet bill of rights" and says tech giants
should be regulated, too.

AT&T subsidiary Michigan Bell Telephone Co. is planning to layoff 114
employees at a Detroit call center effective March 28.
The Dallas-based conglomerate intends to cut employees at its Detroit
Credit & Collections Call Center at 105 E. Bethune St. in the New
Center area, according to a notice filed with the state Thursday. The
call center in the building will close but other operations there will
continue, company spokesman Marty Richter told Crain's via email.
