Some folks criticize the use of ANI since it would conflict with PBXs. But back when ANI was developed, provisions were made to use the main directory number instead of the actual trunk for PBX subscribers. If they could do this in 1958, they certainly could accomodate it today. http://www.alcatel-lucent.com/bstj/vol37-1958/articles/bstj37-5-1295.pdf (PBX feature found on page 1305)

At issue in Kirtsaeng v. John Wiley & Sons is the first-sale doctrine in copyright law, which allows you to buy and then sell things like electronics, books, artwork and furniture as well as CDs and DVDs, without getting permission from the copyright holder of those products. Under the doctrine, which the Supreme Court has recognized since 1908, you can resell your stuff without worry because the copyright holder only had control over the first sale. Put simply, though Apple has the copyright on the iPhone and Mark Owen does on the book "No Easy Day," you can still sell your copies to whomever you please whenever you want without retribution. That's being challenged now for products that are made abroad and if the Supreme Court upholds an appellate court ruling it would mean that the copyright holders of anything you own that has been made in China, Japan or Europe, for example, would have to give you permission to sell it. ... http://www.marketwatch.com/story/your-right-to-resell-your-own-stuff-is-in-peril-2012-10-04

That's going in the blog, too. Could you post the address of your blog? Oh, and as for CL, when I moved ten years ago I decided that I could do without (at the time) Qwest's services and haven't had service with them(or their successor) since then. Even though I came to loathe the service from Qwest I still would have left if I had any other LEC. A good Mac Head (tm) friend of mine just got rid of his CL line and now only uses mobile and VoIP as well. ***** Moderator's Note ***** My blog is at billhorne dot com. Bill Horne Moderator
