Subject: PA Outage: Some landlines down in Bedford County
BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) - Several counties in Pennsylvania lost
phone service through the provider CenturyLink. Bedford County
residents were impacted by this outage.
Director of Bedford County Emergency Services David Cubbison said a
number of 911 centers were affected. Bedford County residents with
CenturyLink landlines were not able to make any calls, with the
exception of 911 in some cases. Bedford 911 is still accessible for
those with other providers.

Subject: AT&T Stock Will Not Go Back To Its Pre-Covid High
By Trefis Team
We believe AT&T stock (NYSE: T) may be a decent opportunity at the
present time. AT&T trades at $29 currently and is, in fact, down 25%
from the level of $39 seen in the beginning of 2020. It traded at $38
in February 2020 - just before the coronavirus pandemic hit the world
- and is currently 24% below that level as well. This is after AT&T
stock gained 9% from its March 2020 low of less than $27. The stock
has underperformed the market over recent months because of a
low-decibel launch of HBO Max, along with the recent acquisition of
Warner Media not likely to add much to the top line in 2020 due to the
ongoing pandemic hitting the movie and advertising revenues for media
giants.

Subject: Canada: Federal Enforcement Agencies Remind Canadian Mobile
App Companies Of Their CASL Obligations
by Amanda Branch and Prudence Etkin
Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) is enforced by three federal
agencies, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications
Commission (CRTC), the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
(OPC) and the Competition Bureau. In late November 2020, they
published a joint news release announcing they had issued letters to
36 businesses in the mobile app industry in Canada advising these
businesses to review their practices relating to the promotion,
installation and use of mobile apps and to take corrective actions
where necessary.
