Subject: Car Advertising Scam Continues To Make The Rounds
by Eide Bailly
If you receive a text or email asking you about making money by
wrapping your car with a logo, it's unfortunately not a new way to
make money in the "gig" economy. It's a scam, pure and simple.
How the Scam Steals Your Money
The "car wrap" or "car advertising" scam typically goes something like

Subject: U.S. Agencies Cannot Enter Contracts That Use Chinese
Telecom Technology
New Rule Implementing NDAA Prohibition: U.S. Agencies Cannot Enter
Contracts That Use Chinese Telecom Technology
by John P. Carlin, Nicholas J. Spiliotes, W. Jay DeVecchio,
Panagiotis C. Bayz and Charles L. Capito, III
The latest in a string of U.S. government (USG) actions restricting
the use of Chinese technology in the U.S. supply chain is an interim
rule issued by the Department of Defense (DoD), General Services
Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA) implementing the first phase of Section 889 of
the FY2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This rule, which
goes into effect on August 13, 2019, prohibits federal agencies from
buying "covered telecommunications equipment or services as a
substantial or essential component of any system, or as critical
technology as part of any system" from designated Chinese entities,
including Huawei Technologies Company Ltd. (Huawei) and ZTE
Corporation (ZTE), and several providers of video surveillance
equipment and services. We detail this proscription below and
summarize how the rule shifts the compliance burden to government
contractors.

It seems the Big Red Menace has returned, in the form of a competitor
to Wester Electric that is located in (GASP!) a COM-MU-NIST country!
I guess the Wall Street Journal isn't making enough off their paywall,
and has been forced to go, hat in hand, to the Great White Father in
Washington for a promise of a one-on-one with a the first barracks
emperor during the second fall of Rome, except that the Journal's
editors seem to have missed the lead - that they are giving free ink to
a guttersnipe and a daddy's boy who has been standing on dead man's
legs all his life.
Amid accusations that the BIG RED MENACE is "stealing" "our" software
and "our" industrial trade secrets and "our" ghod-given way-of-life,
our very own communist elites are plotting ways to drive a chrome car
bumber into our backside and herd us back to the fiefdoms of medieval
times. Amid the double-dealing and backstabbing and Lolita Express
flights for the top 1% of the top 1%, we're being led down a garden
path to another McCarthy era which is now being built in the same
factory where they make manufactured housing for the wage slaves of
the greatest country on earth.
News flash, Journal editors: the National Security Agency spends
86,400,000 milliseconds out of every day listening to, correlating,
analyzing, and selling the secrets of every inventor, author, vi-
sionary, and truth-teller in these great big Unites States! How about
a story on THAT kleptocracy, Mr. Dow and Mr. Jones?
