Subject: Letters to the Editor: My Verizon nightmare
My telephone service problem from Verizon has been going on probably
for 25 years or more. When it rains, there is so much static or
buzzing on the line that it becomes impossible to call. The
technicians come out fix it for a while, then it's messed up again
when it rains again.
Why don't I use a cell phone? Simple: I can't hear over any of them,
and there is no other phone service offered out here.

By Scott Moritz
As the race to fifth-generation wireless technology heats up, so do
the claims about technological superiority.
A day after Verizon Communications Inc. announced that it will be the
first carrier out of the gate to launch 5G wireless in the U.S., AT&T
Inc. Chief Executive Officer Randall Stephenson said he's curious to
see how the service will be greeted by consumers.

The hearing, set for Sept. 26, reflects growing concerns among
lawmakers over user privacy on the internet, especially in light of
recent revelations of questionable practices at several big tech

phone. She uses them in her family-owned business that requires her to
photograph snow conditions. But the truly irreplaceable ones are, of
course, of her family, friends and vacations.
Now, hundreds of those irreplaceable photos are gone forever.
