Subject: AT&T to auto block fraud robocalls for free, but blocking
spam calls will cost extra
AT&T will charge $4 month to automatically block all spam robocalls.
By Liam Tung
AT&T this week announced that it will by default block fraud robocalls
and suspected "spam-call alerts" for customers at "no charge". But to
actually block all spam calls automatically, customers will still need
to pay $4 a month.
AT&T said the change was an expansion of its existing AT&T Call
Protect service, which has a free version and paid-for version with
more blocking features.

Subject: Hammer Time: AT&T Files Suit Against Max Retrans
AT&T filed a lawsuit in US District Court in St Louis Thursday against
Max Retrans, whose principal is former Nexstar exec Duane Lammers. The
company claims in a heavily redacted suit that it has suffered damages
by broadcast consulting firm Max Retrans breaching a 2016 non-disclosure
agreement that prevents it from disclosing AT&T's confidential rates
and contract terms with any client other than the specific station
group engaged in the specific negotiation.
