Subject: 5G Rivals Face an 1 Billion Tab After Spectrum Buying Spree
By Drew FitzGerald and Sam Goldfarb
Bidders spent a record $80.9 billion in a U.S. government
airwaves-license sale, capping a frenzied auction that will demand a
commensurate wave of borrowing in an already-indebted telecom sector.

Subject: AT&T 5G to start rolling out in select US airports
By Ida Torres
While airports are probably not the busiest places now because of the
pandemic, there are still a lot of people that go through them every
day because of necessary travel. That's why AT&T has decided to equip
several U.S. airports with their 5G network, beginning with Tampa
International Airport in Florida, right before the Super Bowl LV this
coming February. This is part of the carrier's efforts to bring 5G to
a wider market, although this is more of a temporary or rather
transitory kind of audience.

***** Moderator's Note *****
Listen up, Mister Govamint Mule: Ham Radio operators are the most
law-abiding population in the world. We don't go storming into the
Capitol, we don't hold demonstrations, and we don't get excited about
imaginary fairy-tale BS that politicians spew with nauseating
regularity.
Do you want to make an easy living spewing buzz words and hype? You're
already doing that.
Do you want to catch law breakers? Do your jobs, you lazy, incompetent
bureaucratic hacks!
