It brings us clear site to our goal of owning the majority in the U.S.” DT controlled 62% of T-Mobile US prior to its Sprint acquisition that closed on 2020. The deal watered down DT's control to around 42%, with former Sprint owner SoftBank controlling a 27% stake. Starting September 1, Metro by T-Mobile will charge a $5 processing fee when customers pay their bills via telephone or in-person at a retail store. Very old sockets only have 2 Belling-Lee ports (one male and one female) for TV and radio. Sockets in some new installations will get this type of socket. Only a male Belling-Lee port and an F-port for the cable modem is available. The VHF-FM radio service (analog radio 87.5-108 MHz) is already switched off in most cable circuits and will be used for data transmissions. -- Marco

Brantl Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Section 60104(c)), by the middle of August 2022 (270 days after the November 15th date of enactment), the FCC is required to issue a report to the Congress on the Future of the Universal Service Fund. The FCC initiated an inquiry on December 2021 to collect comments from interested parties (WC Docket No. 21-476), which were received in January 2022. Most recently, as the FCC works on finalizing the report, interested parties have been meeting with the FCC Commissioners and staff. https://tinyurl.com/8tc3rcc9
