Subject: Here are the catches in Verizon's unlimited data plan
By Rob Pegoraro
You can't ever read the fine print too carefully, and that is also the
case with Verizon's new unlimited data plan.
The $80 unlimited plan - or, to phrase it more accurately, "unmetered"
plan - that Verizon Wireless rolled out Sunday features fewer
carve-outs and restrictions than comparable offerings from AT&T and
Sprint, as well as one from T-Mobile, which has responded to Verizon
by removing restrictions on hotspot use and video streaming.

Subject: Is Verizon's Resurrected Unlimited Data Plan a Good Deal?
Hell just froze over because Verizon, long time hater of unlimited
data plans, has decided to introduce a new unlimited data option.
What's the deal? And more importantly...Is the new plan a good deal?
Verizon follows in the footsteps of Sprint and T-Mobile, which both
offer various "unlimited" plans. Both of the smaller companies have
been nipping at the heels of the big dogs, Verizon and AT&T, and it's
interesting to see Verizon, which has a reputation for being the most
reliable carrier - but also the most expensive - finally re-enter the
unlimited waters.

Subject: Yahoo and Verizon 'near to agreeing revised sale terms'
Internet group Yahoo has reportedly agreed a price cut on its initial
$4.8bn (£3.86bn) sale to Verizon.
Verizon's purchase of Yahoo's core internet arm was put in doubt last
year after disclosure of two cyber attacks.
Several reports in the US said Yahoo has now accepted a price cut of
up to $350m and agreed to share liability with Verizon for potential
lawsuits.
