Subject: John Legere says T-Mobile wants to top AT&T in total customers Message-ID: <luvqdg$e9u$1@dont-email.me> BY TRICIA DURYEE T-Mobile's hard-charging CEO John Legere says when they finish overtaking Sprint later this year in total number of customers, the Bellevue-based carrier is gunning for AT&T. "We will overtake Sprint this year, and next on our list is AT&T," he said. The claims about Sprint have been made before, but Legere added AT&T to his take-down list at today's Un-Carrier 7.0 event in San Francisco, where it unveiled a new router for its customers that will boost coverage using WiFi. http://www.geekwire.com/2014/t-mobile-ceos-john-legere-boldly-predicts-att-next-overtakes-sprint-later-year/ -or- http://goo.gl/gqUF2d -- Bill Horne (Remove QRM from my address to write to me directly)

Subject: Verizon to Join "Virtual MSO" Fray in Mid-2015 with Wireless TV Service Message-ID: <luvmnf$j47$1@dont-email.me> Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Verizon Communications expects to launch a wireless TV service late in the first half of 2015, which would combine broadcast networks and an à-la-carte collection of cable and digital media channels, topper Lowell McAdam said at an investor conference Thursday. According to McAdam, among cable programmers, there's been an attitude shift among cable programmers toward accepting a new over-the-top model for delivering pay TV. http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/verizon-to-join-virtual-mso-fray-in-mid-2015-with-wireless-tv-service-1201303707/ -or- http://goo.gl/Yg2JlF -- Bill Horne (Remove QRM from my address to write to me directly)

Subject: 3 Reasons Why Verizon is Superior to AT&T Message-ID: <luvka0$408$1@dont-email.me> By Brian Nichols Verizon and AT&T are often put in the same sentence, as two highly competitive companies of similar size in the same industry. These companies have similar dividends and trade at near-identical price-to-earnings multiples, so many investors figure picking Verizon or AT&T for a portfolio is a flip of a coin. While that might have been true in the past, recent moves by both companies make this assumption outdated. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2014/09/10/3-reasons-why-verizon-is-superior-to-att.aspx -or- http://goo.gl/EB2oBm -- Bill Horne (Remove QRM from my address to write to me directly)
