Bose Corporation is a true American success story. Bose was founded in
1964 by Amar Gopal Bose, the American son of a refugee Bengali freedom
fighter, who was educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and began his career there as an assistant professor. A tinkerer in
the best sense of the word, Bose began putting together audio
technology products in the 1950s.
Today Bose is a household name and the company's products are
celebrated for their high quality. Bose (the company) is also
distinguished by the fact that Bose (the man), who held a
professorship at MIT for decades, donated the majority of his
company's nonvoting shares to his employer. The dividends are
used by MIT to advance the mission of the school.

Subject: Florida Legislature Passes New Telehealth Law
by Thomas B. Ferrante and Nathaniel M. Lacktman
On April 29, 2019, the Florida State Legislature passed HB 23, a law
providing additional guidelines on the use of telehealth in the
Sunshine State. The bill is now on its way to Governor DeSantis' desk
where he is expected to sign it into law. The law cements the validity
of telehealth services in Florida, establishes new telehealth practice
standards, creates a registration process for out-of-state health care
professionals to use telehealth to deliver health care services to
Florida patients, and introduces less-than-ideal commercial
reimbursement provisions.
Passage of the bill is due to the outstanding efforts of the Florida
telehealth community, including the Florida Telehealth Advisory
Council and its dedicated members. The 13-member Council held public
meetings throughout 2017, conducted a research survey of Florida
health plans, facilities, and providers, and ultimately completed a
comprehensive report with recommendations to the Legislature for a
telehealth bill.

Justice Department staff had urged rejection of Sprint-T-Mobile merger
By Tony Romm May 22
Justice Department staff members who've have been reviewing the
proposed merger of T-Mobile and Sprint had recommended that the
U.S. government sue to block the $26 billion deal, fearing the
combination of the country's third- and fourth-largest wireless
carriers could threaten competition.
The recommendation - confirmed Wednesday by a source familiar
with DOJ's thinking but not authorized to speak on record - came
before the two companies offered new concessions this week meant
to appease regulators, including pledges to divest certain lines of
business and cap prices for consumers. Reuters first reported the
recommendation.
