Subject: Verizon faces new city code challenge

The public hearing for Verizon antennas atop Providence Hall will
enter its ninth month as the application faces a new challenge from
the city code.
The application is for a special-use permit from Bell Atlantic Mobile
Systems, LLC, on behalf of Verizon Wireless to install and operate
wireless communications equipment on the roof of Providence Hall, 119
Columbia St.

Subject: Protect Our Vote. Build Worker Power.
Earlier today, CWA members, retirees and, allies gathered for a town
hall to discuss the urgency of passing the For the People Act. CWA
President Chris Shelton and Secretary-Treasurer Sara Steffens hosted
the event, and Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) and voting
rights activist Stacey Abrams joined the group with inspirational
messages about the importance of protecting and expanding voting
rights.

Businesses Are Vulnerable

Almost half of the businesses in a new survey reported remote lockdown
practices rattled their cybersecurity. A smaller percentage of the
same group pointed to mobile devices as the biggest culprits.

Small Business & Channel Chief at Verizon Business Wendy Taccetta. She
explained the Verizon Mobile Security Index 2021 and how SMBs have
left themselves exposed.
