The company said a fiber line was cut during a digging project. Services were restored around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. "Verizon Wireless experienced an interruption in service for customers in Oklahoma today," said Jeannine Brew, a spokeswoman for the company. "It was caused by the rare occurrence of two separate fiber cuts on different lines, impacting the redundancy built into our network. Some Verizon customers are having issues reaching Greenfield and Hawlemont Regional School telephones, according to Crocker Communications Director of Sales Bill Spathis. Crocker Communications provides phone services for the two entities, along with several other municipalities.
