Subject: T-Mobile's 2.5GHz headache
T-Mobile is in the process of snapping up the remaining 2.5GHz
spectrum licenses around the country that it does not already
own. That effort ought to come to a head later this month during the
FCC's planned Auction 108 of unused 2.5GHz spectrum licenses in mostly
rural areas.
However, an investment firm fronted by a telecom billionaire is
developing into a potential fly in T-Mobile's 5G ointment.

Workers at Verizon Express stores in Portland, Ore., have formed a
union with CWA and are seeking voluntary recognition from the
company. The workers have also filed an election petition with the
National Labor Relations Board, should the company fail to recognize
the union. The workers stand firm in their commitment to form a union
and collectively work to implement their stated values, including fair
compensation, adequate staffing levels, health benefits, work-life
balance, and a safe work environment that is built on respect and
positivity.

Subject: Dish says SpaceX 'manipulated' tests and lied to customers
about 5G interference
Dish says SpaceX has been lying to customers about how a plan to
expand the use of certain airwaves for 5G could disrupt its Starlink
internet-from-space service. SpaceX sent a "manipulated filing" to the
Federal Communications Commission in an attempt to prove the expanded
5G usage would lead to substantial interference, writes Dish and a
group of other companies known as the 5G for 12 GHz Coalition. They
write that SpaceX is conducting "a public misinformation campaign"
against 5G.
"This tactic, which is commonly used by Elon Musk, is not only
disingenuous, but it promulgates an anti-5G narrative that is harmful
to American consumers who deserve greater competition, connectivity
options and innovation," the Coalition writes in a statement published
today.
