will stay on as Executive Chairman of the Board through the end of
2018 and as Non-Executive Chairman thereafter.

Subject: 'Verizon' Case Takes Narrow View on Sales Tax Exemption
Many people are familiar with the "resale exception" under which, for
example, a sale by a clothing manufacturer of shirts to a clothing
store is exempt from sales tax because the sales of the shirts by the
store are taxable, see N.Y. Tax Law Sections 1101(b)(4)(i), 1105(a).

Many people are familiar with the "resale exception" under which, for

store is exempt from sales tax because the sales of the shirts by the
store are taxable, see N.Y. Tax Law Sections 1101(b)(4)(i),
1105(a). The sales tax contains corollary exemptions for property
purchased to produce goods and services for sale to consumers. Thus,
for example, the clothing manufacturer does not pay sales tax when it
purchases sewing machines used to produce the shirts, see N.Y. Tax Law
Section 1115(a)(12).

California Mayor Continues Pause on Small Cell Deployment After
Verizon "Ran Roughshod" Over Neighborhoods
The pause continues from the city councils 'cause for concern' on how
the rollout of the small cell wireless gear was managed.
By Kevin Mccallum
(TNS) - Santa Rosa is still unwilling to let Verizon Wireless install
antennas and wireless equipment on city light poles, putting the
carrier's plans to boost network coverage in the city on hold
indefinitely.
The city council on Tuesday reaffirmed the "pause" it placed on the
project in March, saying the way the company had managed the rollout
of "small cell" wireless gear on wooden utility poles in the city was
a cause for concern.
