Subject: T-Mobile begins selling app data collected from Android
phones
by Matthew Keys Posted on June 28, 2022
A T-Mobile executive affirms the company is now selling data to third
parties related to how its customers use their smartphones and other
devices connected on its wireless network.
The affirmation came in a wide-ranging interview this week with the
publication Ad Exchanger, during which Jessica Zhu, the company's head
of advertising, said the company was able to determine which apps a
customer had installed on their phone, how they were using them and
which websites they visited in a browser.

Subject: Verizon vs. T-Mobile
T-Mobile vs Verizon: You'll get better value from T-Mobile, but
Verizon's network generally has better coverage.
By Antonio Villas-Boas - Jun 28, 2022
* T-Mobile has faster 5G and more "premium" data than Verizon for a
lower monthly cost.
* However, Verizon tends to have better coverage, especially in rural
areas.
* You'll need a 5G phone to make the most of any of these plans.
T-Mobile and Verizon are often compared when picking a mobile carrier,
as T-Mobile is more affordable than Verizon, and you might be
wondering why.
Despite this price disparity, T-Mobile gives you more unthrottled,
"premium" data in the basic and mid-range plans compared to Verizon's
comparable plans. Plus, T-Mobile has better international and travel
perks than Verizon.

Subject: Phone service disrupted at senior high-rise for three weeks
Joseph Kohut, The Times-Tribune, Scranton, Pa.
Fri, June 24, 2022 at 8:17 PM
Jun. 24 - SCRANTON - A little more than three weeks ago, damaged
copper cables cut landline phone service residents of a downtown
senior high-rise count on.
In the coming days, Mulberry Tower's management hopes it will finally
come back.
Verizon phone service should be restored sometime next week, said
property manager Kim Dempsey, citing a recent conversation with
Frontier Communications. Frontier leases the lines, said Lori
Ragaglia, assistant community manager.
