Subject: Mt. Airy NC: Centurylink has widespread internet outage

Several thousand customers of Centurylink internet have been without
service since Sunday.
According to a Centurylink customer service representative who
declined to give her full name, service had been out for more than 24
hours as of 3 p.m. Monday, and was due to go back online by 5 p.m.
