Verizon sheds subscribers amidst coronavirus crisis
By Steve McCaskill
Verizon has updated its guidance due to the "unprecedented magnitude
of current conditions" that saw it lose 68,000 subscribers during the
first quarter of 2020.
In order to maintain social distancing, the US operator has closed
more than two thirds of it stores and reduced the trading hours of
outlets that remain open for business. These stores have also stopped
selling smartphones, with customers required to purchase handsets
online.

Subject: CenturyLink takes back cable boxes, zeroes out bill

victim, Kies said, of its own shifting price structure.
The cable TV boxes remained on as squatters - abandoned by a company
that for six months failed to pay for their return, and charged Kies
for its mistake.
