Well said!

This is exactly why, ten years ago, we had to tell people not to "mail
bomb" obnoxious e-mailers or newsgroup posters.

The other issue is collateral damage. In an attempt to bombard a
spammer, even if you get the spammer's true address, there's too much
risk of clogging up innocent sites along the way.
