SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Web marketplace eBay Inc. said on Tuesday that its site was temporarily down worldwide on Monday evening due to a power outage at a primary hosting facility in the San Francisco area.

A company spokesman said eBay had restored global access to virtually
