Not cool, bro. Why it matters: The Carriers are fighting inflation by going straight for their customers' pockets. It doesn't have to be this way. T-Mobile is standing by its commitment to customers with Price Lock, which ensures T-Mobile won't raise the price of its existing wireless rate plans even as costs for everything else increase. https://tinyurl.com/27jwanhb -- (Please remove QRM from my email address to write to me directly)

By Laurel Brubaker Calkins and Francesca Maglione International Business Machines Corp. must pay $1.6 billion to BMC Software Inc. for swapping in its own software while servicing their mutual client, a federal judge ruled. US District Judge Gray Miller in Houston on Monday rejected IBM's claim that it acquired the mainframe software account of one of BMC's core customers, AT&T Corp., fair and square. Miller awarded damages based on his earlier determination that IBM's role in AT&T's decision to dump BMC "smacked of intentional wrongdoing." His ruling came after a seven-day non-jury trial in March. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-31/ibm-must-pay-1-6-billion-in-bmc-case-federal-judge-orders -- (Please remove QRM from my email address to write to me directly)
