THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FROM A LAWYER. A settlement ("Settlement") has been proposed in a class action involving customers who had an account for local or long distance telephone, internet, or television services with a CenturyLink Operating Company. CenturyLink denies it did anything wrong and the Court has not decided who is right. https://centurylinkmdlclasssettlement.com/Home/portalid/0 -- Bill Horne Telecom Digest Moderator ------------------------------ Message-ID: <20200728011114.GA7436@telecom.csail.mit.edu> Date: Tue, 28 Jul 2020 01:11:14 +0000 From: Moderator <telecomdigestsubmissions@remove-this.telecom-digest.org> Subject: Where Will CenturyLink Be in 5 Years? The telecom may still redeem itself despite the migration to 5G. By Nicholas Rossolillo A new age of internet connectivity and communication is upon us, and CenturyLink (NYSE:CTL) could find itself on the outs. Mobile network operators like Verizon (NYSE:VZ) are rolling out super-fast 5G connectivity technology, which could put them in direct competition with legacy internet service providers (ISPs) like CenturyLink, not to mention further accelerate declining phone line and cable TV business. https://www.fool.com/investing/2019/03/19/where-will-centurylink-be-in-5-years.aspx -- Bill Horne Telecom Digest Moderator ------------------------------ Message-ID: <20200728013613.GA7474@telecom.csail.mit.edu> Date: Tue, 28 Jul 2020 01:36:13 +0000 From: Moderator <telecomdigestsubmissions@remove-this.telecom-digest.org> Subject: BBB published pattern of complaints re: Centurylink BBB (Better BUsiness Bureau) files indicate a pattern of consumer complaints filed against this business.
