That's the least we could infer from the scuttlebutt that two white candidates from North Monroe (LA) are considering opposing Mayor Jamie Mayo in the spring 2020 election. Though Gov. John Bel Edwards made a big to-do about CenturyLink agreeing to maintain its corporate headquarters in Monroe through 2025, it's widely known CenturyLink's executives, by and large, do not work or live in Monroe. By Jon Brodkin AT&T has cut more than 23,000 jobs since receiving a big tax cut at the end of 2017, despite lobbying heavily for the tax cut by claiming that it would create thousands of jobs. AT&T in November 2017 pushed for the corporate tax cut by promising to invest an additional $1 billion in 2018, with CEO Randall Stephenson saying that "every billion dollars AT&T invests is 7,000 hard-hat jobs. These are not entry-level jobs. By Zack Whittaker The company quietly posted a notification of its data breach almost exactly two months after March 14, when Boost said the breach happened. "Boost.com experienced unauthorized online account activity in which an unauthorized person accessed your account through your Boost phone number and Boost.com PIN code," said the notification.
