When it rains, there is so much static or buzzing on the line that it becomes impossible to call. The technicians come out fix it for a while, then it's messed up again when it rains again. Why don't I use a cell phone? Simple: I can't hear over any of them, and there is no other phone service offered out here. https://www.godanriver.com/opinion/letters_to_editor/letters-to-the-editor-for-wednesday-september/article_59a4235a-b602-11e8-b336-37bf30cef04e.html -- Bill Horne (Remove QRM from my email address to write to me directly) ------------------------------ Message-ID: <20180913004805.GA26036@telecom.csail.mit.edu> Date: Wed, 12 Sep 2018 20:48:06 -0400 From: Bill Horne <bill@horneQRM.net> Subject: AT&T CEO Knocks Verizon's New 5G Service as 'Nonstandard' By Scott Moritz As the race to fifth-generation wireless technology heats up, so do the claims about technological superiority.
