Subject: Detroit-area school chief quits over cell tower controversy
WYANDOTTE, Mich. (AP) — The superintendent of a Detroit-area school
district has resigned amid protests over 5G wireless phone antennas
near a school playground.
There was applause Wednesday when the Wyandotte school board accepted
the resignation of Catherine Cost, who had served for nearly 10 years.
For weeks, some parents have vigorously objected to having the
T-Mobile technology so close to kids at Washington Elementary School,
citing health concerns. The district agreed to lease space on a
chimney, though T-Mobile hasn't activated the antennas yet.

Subject: Charter throws some static on Samsung's CBRS/C-band radios
By Mike Dano
Samsung is asking for FCC permission to release a radio that can
broadcast cellular signals in two spectrum bands, the C-band and the
3.5GHz CBRS band. But cable company Charter Communications has some
reservations about that.
"Charter respectfully requests that the Commission defer acting on
Samsung's petition until interested stakeholders have had a reasonable
opportunity to review and comment on the results of Samsung's tests on
whether and how its novel dual-band transmitter satisfies the CBRS
out-of-band emissions (OOBE) and in-band emissions levels in each mode
in which the Samsung base station can operate," the company told the
FCC in a new filing.
